For a party that only got organised because a friend of mine told me how much he wanted to see True Live play a show at Mt. Buller, this one sure had a lot of people excited. When I met the manager of the venue atop the summit of Mt. Buller for a few beers to watch the infamous sunset a week later, she was already more than a little pumped at what she has heard of the guys so I was sorry to inform her that I would only be bringing up half the band for one of their legendary hip-hop DJ sets playing under the banner of The True Live Sound System, as well as one of Australia's best up and coming indie performers, The Benson Campain.

Luckily, the boys did not disappoint.

As predicted, the lads lifted the roof off for a mammoth three hour set and blew minds with a mixture of old skool and new stuff with Ryan making some local lads very happy by picking up the mic around 2am and freestyling as only he can. Thanks to the wonderful staff of the Kooroora Hotel, Black Mountain Hire, BSL Staff and Mt. Buller in general for making it such a memorable event and hooking the lads up with enough gear to get out and hit the slopes the following morning. A very special thank you to Nicole @ KH and Marcel B for initiating the whole ordeal - hype foundation owes you guys many high fives next season!
