should I join your site instead of hassling a photographer who actually
knows people?
A. Go, hassle away. The difference with the internet though, is that
its on, 24/7 - worldwide, baby. If you want to keep making your sponsor
me vids and emailing a magazine editor who is far more interested in
getting your sisters number than looking at your photos, be our guest.
If however, you are keen to explore every opportunity available well
then you have come to the right place. We are constantly in contact with
team managers, editors, brand managers and anyone else who may have a
hand in getting you to the next X-Games so shut up and get yourself a
folio before your gumby mate.
Q. This website seems to be very snowboard oriented... Any plans to
expand?
A. Of course. While we are starting out with snowboarding during the
winter, we welcome any other action sport members. With your support,
we will soon be moving into many other core disciplines, we just wanted
to try this one first.
Q. You are primarily based in Australia & New
Zealand - does that mean I can't join?
A. Absolutely not. While the two founding directors happen to be from
downunder, The HYPE Foundation looks forward to representing and networking
people from all around the world. We are currently in negotiations
with media sources from Europe, Japan and the US to bring you exclusive
daily news and industry content from those in the know.
Q. I don't skate or snowboard but I am interested in the culture.
How can I get involved?
A. Here at HYPE we are keen to get to know anyone who is interested
in board culture, all you need is a picture or a video of yourself
and you can get started.
Q. I am having problems viewing or using some content on your site.
Whats the deal?
A. Our apologies if you are having any difficulties, we are still in
the development phase of the site. We beg your forgiveness and will
do our best to rectify any problems you bring to our attention. If
you prefer, we have a form you can fill out at the bottom of this page.
Q. I'm a nerd and I need input.
A. Relax geekazoid, we have tons more stuff to add to the site over
the coming months, including the world first online contest - the
HYPE Session which is going to blow your mind.

A. Ok so we don't get asked this all that often. But we have some big
ideas for all you poor, lonely snow bunnies out there, in case the
Freeway Tour parties weren't getting you enough action already. Stay
