The Camp of Champions exists to push the
bar of what's expected at a summer camp every year. Their mission is
to make each camper feel like a pro, develop new park layouts, have
the sickest rails, jumps and improve coaching techniques.
Ken was inducted
into the Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2000 for his contributions to snowboarding.
Co-Inventor of the Twin tip snowboard with Neil Daffern and currently
the owner and director of one of the oldest snowboard/ski camps in
the world. His roots in action sports also run deep. Ken¹s
been mountain biking since it meant motocross bars on single speed
bike. He was the top BMX Vert rider in Canada from 79-82 and has skateboarded
since he could walk. All in all, Ken has been committed to this lifestyle
since before it was ever given the term Action Sports.

Once a camper
arrives in Vancouver everything except for dinner is included with
Camp. Their staff greets campers at the airport with 15 passenger vans.
The coaches and staff then give them the week of their life in Whistler
before returning them at the end of their session to reality at the
airport.
The Camp of Champions takes over the Aspens
Hotel in Whistler and turns it into an amazing playground. With everything
from Apple computers, pool, ping pong, and foosball tables, old school
arcade video games and pinball machines, PS2, X-Boxes, demo rooms,
movie rooms, video editing suites and more. The camper return rate
is an amazing 41%. The Camp of Champions is the ultimate summer camp
experience and campers return year after year because of this. |
